How to specify Impact Bed
An impact bed supports the belt beneath a loading zone. Selection should reflect the falling material and transfer arrangement rather than the bed length alone. The bed, belt trough, skirt sealing and chute geometry need to be reviewed together.
Information to include in your inquiry
Provide drop height, largest lump size, material density, loading rate, belt width and speed. Send the loading-zone length, trough angle and structural mounting drawing. State maintenance access and required bar replacement clearance before confirming a support arrangement.
